Goals & Objectives
Short Term: Retain a high caliber Board of Directors that basically have total control over AIR and it's resources and a minimum of thirty (30) thousand dollars in the fund by the end of the 2006 race season .
Medium Term: To have a minimum of forty (40) thousand in the fund .
Long Term: To maintain the AIR program to aid riders for an indefinite period of time, while growing the fund and expanding the organizations efforts .
How AIR Works
AIR membership is available to all AMA Flattrack License holders . Members maintain membership by paying yearly dues that are $20 and include coverage from the May Springfield Event Weekend through the following May Springfield Event Weekend .
Two (2) mandatory annual meetings are scheduled for the Board of Directors . Said meetings are scheduled to take place during the May Springfield Event Weekend and the September Springfield Weekend . Meeting times and locations are at the discretion of the Board of Directors . Additional meetings shall be held when deemed necessary by the Board .
When a member presents a bill for payment they are to submit the medical bills to an AIR Board member . The Board member will then present it to the Board for voting . Three ayes are necessary to approve payment for injuries up to 10% of monies in the AIR fund at the time of accident .
The AIR Board of Directors consists of Volunteers who will remain in office for an unspecified time period and will only be replaced under the following conditions:
1 . The member resigns from the Board
2 . There is another volunteer who would like to hold a particular office in which case an election will be held by the membership to determine who shall fill the seat
3 . The officer will be asked to vacate the office due to unbecoming conduct .

Rider Representative - Joe Kopp

Rider Representative - Jared Mees
The President will not vote on any issue unless their vote is needed to break a tie . All decisions requiring a vote will require a minimum of three (3) Aye votes in order to pass . |
